Key OnePlus 11 Pro specifications have been revealed by a new leak. They include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 50 MP primary camera sensor, 32 MP telephoto lens, 48 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 16 GB of RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.
The upcoming OnePlus 11 Pro has a lot riding it due to OnePlus’ recent bout of launching lacklustre devices. Some renders of the high-end smartphone confirmed that it would keep the iconic alert slider, but some of its innards were still shrouded by mystery. One report said that the OnePlus 11 Pro could turn things up a notch and become the company’s "most premium" phone so far. 91mobiles aims to put some of those speculations to rest by publishing the phone’s spec sheet in its entirety.
To nobody’s surprise, the OnePlus 11 Pro will use Qualcomm’s shiny new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The TSMC-manufactured SoC should help bolster its capabilities with its new Cortex-X3 core that can reportedly boost up to 3.5 GHz. It is to be paired with up to 16 GB of (likely LPDDR5X) RAM, a paltry 256 GB of (likely UFS 4.0) storage and a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen. OnePlus would do well to offer more storage as one can easily fill 256 GB up with high-resolution photos. Additional expansion is a distant dream with the rapidly disappearing SD card slot in flagships.
OnePlus has been putting extra emphasis on their devices’ photography chops. This is apparent with the Hasselblad branding on the OnePlus 11 Pro. It is said to feature a 1-inch 50 MP Sony IMX766 (possibly the same one on the Vivo X90 Pro+), a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32 MP telephoto lens. It could rotate, too, if a sketchy rumour is to be believed. OnePlus is yet to dabble with periscope-style telephoto lenses on its phones and it remains to be seen if the OnePlus 11 Pro changes that trend. A 32/16 MP sensor will handle selfies and video calls.
Other OnePlus 11 Pro specs include a 5,000 mAh battery with 100 W fast charging support. While that isn’t as impressive as the OnePlus 10T, it is sufficient to juice the smartphone in a relatively short time. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G are also included. On paper, the OnePlus 11 Pro looks like a worthy upgrade over the OnePlus 10 Pro. The new 1-inch sensor, combined with Hasselblad’s software magic could allow it to give the Xiaomi 13 and Oppo Find X series a run for their money.
